There are Normica Single User and Normica Floating License.

Normica Single User License
License is related to hardware (1 license per computer)

For users working with one workstation only or use a laptop Normica Single User License will be the right choice. Single User license can be installed on 1 PC. There is a license tranfer supported.

Normica Floating License
License concurrent user. The amount of concurrent users is limited by the amount of valid licenses.

In a network Normica Floating License will increase flexibility, because everyone in the network can use Normica.

The license management works over the the file system which makes it very versatile. The server software has to be installed once on a computer with Windows installed. The clients will get installed the start icons only. Normica Floating License successfully runs in Novell-, Linux file server, on Cytrix, other terminal servers, and others.

Now you can check out a remaining license from the Normica Floating License (if available) to use it temporarely on a computer as a single user license which is disconnected from the network.
