With a valid subscription you will receive the latest service- and release updates for your Normica Software as it becomes available. Benefit from progressive corrections, extensions and improvements. These updates can be installed by the comfortable Normica update functions. The last Normica program version in the context of an active subscription can be used without any time limit, even if the subscription has expired.

The 'First subscription' for a Normica program is calculated from the month and year of purchase of the associated Normica software license.

The date of the beginning of the initial subscription depends on the date of the order of the associated Normica program: 

• If the order is in the first half of the year  (1.1. - 31.6.), the contract is concluded until the end of the current calendar year.
• If the order is in the second half of the year (1.7. - 31.12.), the contract is concluded until the end of the next calendar year.

The time interval of the first subscription term is therefore 7 to 18 months. The fees are payable in advance. 

Renewal of subscription: Following subscriptions run times periods are 12, 24 and 36 months (1^st Jan. - 31^st Dec.).

Subscription terms of more years are possible. Customers who are ordering Normica service contracts with a duration of more years, will benefit from a price protection.

Update retroactivily: Subscriptions are available as an option and can be purchased also at a later time to update an outdated license to the latest Normica release.

With the subsequent purchase of the subscription, the month and the year of purchase of the Normica license is the start for reactivating the subscription, or the following month of the last valid subscription period of this license. 

If you buy the Normica subscription to update an already present Normica license, tell us with the order the serial number of the Normica Software you like to receive the subscription for. If you are ordering a subscription plan for a Normica floating license, each concurrent user (Normica floating license client) will require a subscription. More information about the subscription terms you will find here: Normica Service Contract (Subscription)
